what a start we had to the 2023 session

On day one at the stp Springspeed Nationals, we unfortunately missed q1 for the dragster due to fuel coming out of the carb ,luckily it was just a quick fix and we only needed to change the 0.7 air jet .Next up for us was the bike and we dialled in 9.90 and had a rt of 0.1123 and an et of 9.8111 at 62.61mph which put us in P8/12 ,we then had q2 for the dragster we went -0.0389 red and ran an et of 8.6384 at 74.89mph which put us P28/30 q2 for the bike and had a rt of 0.0059 and an et of 9.5403 at

62.74 mph which put us in P11/12 , next up q3 for the dragster we went 0.0028 and ran an et of 8.5263 at 78.27mph which put us P1/30 we then went out for q3 for the bike we dialled in 9.70 and had a rt of 0.1672 and an et of 9.7483 at 63.05mph which put us in P2/12, which we were extremely happy with for our first runs of the seasons.

On day 3 whe had or first round of elimination in the dragster I had a rt of 0.0525 and an et of 8.6115 at 74.18mph on a 8.45 dial in against Emmy Crundwell running a rt of 0.1442 and an et of 9.3489 at 64.69mph on a 9.45 dial in gives me the win on a brake out, round two of eliminations in the dragster I had an rt of 0.0636 and an et of 8.6660 at 73.59mph on a 8.45 dial in against Max Taylor running an rt of 0.0938 and an et of 9.6217 at 64.43mph on a 9.58 dial in gives Max Taylor the win by getting to the finish line first , we then had first round of eliminations on the bike and I had an rt of 0.5248 and an et of 12.6436 at 66.51mph on a 9.41 dial in against Faith Morrison running an rt of 0.7228 and an et of 19.4623 at 26.23mph on a 18.30 dial in giving her the win by getting to the line first because my bike cut out as i brought my revs up as she left the line luckily I managed to get an rt of 0.5248 but the bike cut out again but got it started again and managed to catch her but unfortunately I didn't make it to the finish line before her but the race was absolutely brilliant. It was that close that when we got off the track Faith said "well done "as she thought i had won and was very surprised that she had won.

We would like to say thank you to eurodragster for the photos and a massive thank you to Scott and Jerry Collier from Projoint Fabrications for their help showing us how to set the clutch up correctly and we would like to give another thank you to Jerry Collier from Projoint Fabrications for fixing our exhaust ready for this weekend as the weekend before at testing we had got another crack in it and it was outstanding work even on the tight time schedule he had
